How to Use & Safety Tips

1. Power: Connect the unit to a 12V car battery using the included cable clips. Only use 12V DC — higher voltages may damage the unit.

2. Filling Oil:

   • Use baby oil or liquid paraffin only.

   • Add 10–15ml via the filler cap. Never overfill.

   • If changing oils, first empty any remaining oil from the tank.

3. Startup Procedure:

   • Gently open the airflow regulator knob.

   • Switch the device on. Wait 30 seconds for smoke generation to begin.

   • The system will auto shut-off if internal temps exceed 75°C (built-in protection).

4. Testing:

   • Disconnect the pipe you want to test and connect the smoke hose.

   • Inspect for smoke escaping from any leaks in vacuum, EVAP, turbo, or intake systems.

   • Use a flashlight or headlamp if necessary.

5. Important Use Notes:

   • Do not operate the unit for more than 8 minutes continuously — allow it to rest between uses.

   • Avoid placing near smoke-sensitive parts (like MAF sensors).

   • The round casing gets hot — allow to cool before handling.

   • Always store upright in a cool, dry place.
