Replacement FCAR VCI Box for compatible FCAR diagnostic systems. Designed for workshops and technicians who already own a compatible FCAR diagnostic tablet and need to replace a lost, damaged or faulty original VCI unit.
The FCAR VCI Box acts as the communication interface between the vehicle and the compatible FCAR diagnostic tablet. It connects to the vehicle through the appropriate diagnostic cable and communicates with the FCAR tablet using Bluetooth or USB.
Important: This listing is for the FCAR VCI unit only. The diagnostic tablet, main diagnostic cable, vehicle adapters and other accessories are not included.

Purpose
The FCAR VCI Box provides the communication link between a compatible FCAR diagnostic tablet and the vehicle being tested.
It is particularly useful as a replacement when the original VCI has been lost, physically damaged or developed a communication fault while the existing FCAR tablet remains operational.
The VCI is not a standalone diagnostic scanner. Vehicle coverage, diagnostic functions and software capabilities depend on the connected FCAR diagnostic tablet and its installed software.

- Bluetooth: Provides wireless communication between the VCI and compatible FCAR tablet.
- USB Interface: Provides wired communication with the tablet and can be used for VCI updates.
Status Indicators
- Power Indicator: Illuminates when the VCI receives power from the connected vehicle.
- Diagnostic Indicator: Indicates communication with the connected vehicle.
- Bluetooth Indicator: Indicates Bluetooth communication with the diagnostic tablet.
- USB Indicator: Indicates USB communication with the diagnostic tablet.

Compatibility
This VCI design is documented by FCAR for its F-series diagnostic equipment, including the FCAR F7S platform.
Compatibility must be confirmed against your existing FCAR diagnostic system before ordering. FCAR has produced different diagnostic platforms and VCI generations, so this replacement VCI should not be assumed to work with every FCAR scanner.
If replacing an existing VCI, compare the replacement unit with the VCI originally supplied with your FCAR diagnostic system.
Replacement VCI Setup
FCAR supports both Bluetooth and USB communication between the compatible tablet and VCI. When connecting by Bluetooth, the VCI can be located through the VCI Connection settings on the FCAR tablet and paired with the diagnostic system.
The VCI firmware can also be updated independently when required.
